GMA / HYPERCAR OWNERSHIP
GMA T.50 & T.33.
Ownership & security.
For a Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, T.33 or T.33 Spider, security starts with the exact car and the way it will be used. Consider its place in the collection, any forthcoming delivery or transport and the people authorised to look after it. This guide sets out the questions to resolve before an installation approach is agreed.

OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
T.50 and T.33 deserve separate assessments
A T.50 enquiry should describe the particular car and what the owner wants to achieve. The same applies to a T.33 or T.33 Spider: provide the full model designation, build year, delivery status and any existing equipment records. The assessment should establish suitability before a product or fitting date is agreed.
Keep manufacturer guidance and the insurer’s written wording with that brief. Ask which requirements concern the vehicle itself, which concern the monitoring service and which concern evidence after installation. Bringing those questions together early is more useful than selecting a system from a generic vehicle list.
OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
Plan around the way the car will be enjoyed
Explain whether the car will spend most of its time at home, in specialist storage or moving between a collection and events. Identify the people who may arrange transport, give access for an appointment or receive the owner demonstration. These are practical ownership questions, not a request to publish private routines.
If a road car and a track-focused vehicle form part of the same collection, identify their different use and handling arrangements explicitly. Do not transfer road-car procedures to another specification by assumption. Refer vehicle-specific operating, transport and care questions to GMA and the relevant specialists.
OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
Preserve the handover information
A low-use collection car still needs an understandable record of security accounts, relevant renewals and support contacts. Decide who keeps that record current and who can speak to the monitoring provider. Revisit it when a keeper, phone, authorised driver or storage location changes.
When arranging an assessment, agree suitable premises and any permissions needed to work there. At completion, allow time for the demonstration appropriate to the supplied equipment and confirmation of the documents provided. Care and battery-maintenance procedures remain specific to the exact GMA model and its manufacturer instructions.
PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY
Bring the brief. Keep the detail private.
- Exact model, variant and build year.
- Written insurer requirements and any deadline.
- Existing security and monitoring paperwork.
- Broad installation postcode and suitable premises.
- The authorised contact for the appointment and handover.
Begin with a short outline. Registration, VIN, collection locations and operating details should only be shared where needed through an agreed private channel.
