IMMOBILISATION

An additional layer.
Individually considered.

Explore start authorisation that suits the vehicle and the people who need to use it.

VEHICLE FIRST

Compatibility is the starting point.

A model name is not a fitment check.

Hypercar electrical architecture, software and existing security systems can vary. We assess the exact vehicle and proposed product before agreeing an installation. We do not publish sensitive installation locations, wiring details or bypass procedures.

The conversation should cover everyday authorisation, additional drivers, approved service arrangements and what happens if a tag or phone is unavailable.

Think through service and handover.

Your dealer, storage team or transporter may need to move the car. Agree how authorised access will work and understand the product’s service procedure. Keep recovery instructions secure and separate from the vehicle.

Any immobilisation proposal concerns safe, agreed operation. No owner should attempt to stop a moving vehicle. Installation and any inhibition behaviour must be appropriate to the vehicle and the selected system.

EXPLORE WITH US

A considered product discussion.

These are routes to product information, not a claim of universal hypercar compatibility. Tell us about your vehicle first. We will explain suitable options, authorisation routines, included equipment and any ongoing costs before booking.

COMBINE WITH TRACKING

Different roles. One ownership plan.

Tracking and additional start authorisation address different parts of the security picture. Discuss both alongside your insurer’s requirements and your storage arrangements.

THE DETAILS OF OWNERSHIP

A more complete brief.

Choose an ownership routine you can maintain

Before deciding on an additional authorisation system, consider who will use the car and what they need to know. An owner who drives alone has a different brief from a collection managed by several authorised people. Explain both the ordinary routine and the occasional situations that matter.

Ask how the proposed product handles a missing owner device, a changed phone or an additional driver. These are product-specific questions. We discuss relevant options after assessing the vehicle rather than presenting one method as universally suitable for hypercars.

Keep the vehicle assessment precise

Provide the exact model and build year, together with any existing security equipment you know about. If the vehicle has previously been modified, say so and supply the available information privately. Unknown details should be identified for assessment instead of guessed.

Installation planning should consider the proposed system in the context of the car. A photograph of a previous job demonstrates experience with that vehicle; it does not establish compatibility for another specification or every product. We confirm the proposal individually before booking.

Plan for the dealer and the storage team

Tell us if someone other than the owner needs to move the car. A dealership appointment, a collection from storage and a transporter handover should have an agreed authorisation arrangement. Ask how the selected product’s service procedure is used and who is responsible for returning it to the intended normal state.

Keep instructions appropriate to each person’s role. Public posts and general vehicle files should not expose confidential recovery details, access credentials or equipment locations. If the owner is absent from fitting, agree how the demonstration and relevant instructions will reach them.

Bring the security layers together

Additional start authorisation and tracking serve different purposes. Discuss the overall objective and any written policy requirement before selecting either. An insurer’s acceptance of the proposed arrangement must be checked with that insurer; it should not be inferred from a familiar brand name.

When requesting a quotation, ask about included owner equipment, installation, the relevant support route and any ongoing charge. Autosecureshop manages product enquiries and booking so that you can discuss the complete proposal with the business providing the installation.
