FERRARI / HYPERCAR OWNERSHIP
Ferrari hypercars.
Ownership & security.
Ferrari has announced a limited production run of 799 F80s worldwide. The F80 and LaFerrari belong to a very particular kind of Ferrari ownership. Delivery planning, the people entrusted with the car and the time it spends between drives all deserve as much thought as the equipment itself. Begin with the exact car and its next movements, rather than treating a Ferrari badge as a universal installation specification.

OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
F80 and LaFerrari: begin with the individual car
An F80 enquiry and a LaFerrari enquiry should arrive as separate briefs. Record the model, build year, existing security and anything already agreed with the supplying dealer. If the car is still awaiting handover, establish when it can actually be assessed and who can authorise work. A delivery date is a planning constraint, not confirmation of product compatibility.
Keep the written insurer requirement alongside that brief. Ask what evidence is required and who will receive it. Where a car already has a tracker, the monitoring account and its current ownership need checking independently of any demonstration in the showroom.
OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
A dealer handover that stays with the owner
A Ferrari dealer, transporter, storage team and owner may each be involved before the first private drive. Agree who is arranging the security assessment, who is present at installation and who receives the operating demonstration. If an owner representative is managing the appointment, make their authority clear before exchanging sensitive information.
The orange and red F80 installations shown in our work section are separate vehicles. They provide genuine context for the service, but they do not mean that every F80, LaFerrari or other Ferrari accepts every system. Detailed installation information stays private.
OWNERSHIP & SECURITY
Keep the collection routine understandable
A car that alternates between private storage, servicing and occasional use needs a handover routine that everyone can follow. Identify the monitoring contact, any subscription renewal and the provider’s instructions for authorised movements. Avoid circulating account passwords or access codes in an ordinary collection spreadsheet.
For care and battery questions, use the documentation for the exact Ferrari and the relevant specialist. A generic storage checklist should help organise the conversation, rather than replace manufacturer procedures. Review the arrangement when the keeper, location or people caring for the car change.
PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY
Bring the brief. Keep the detail private.
- Exact model, variant and build year.
- Written insurer requirements and any deadline.
- Existing security and monitoring paperwork.
- Broad installation postcode and suitable premises.
- The authorised contact for the appointment and handover.
Begin with a short outline. Registration, VIN, collection locations and operating details should only be shared where needed through an agreed private channel.
